It’s that time of  year again to start up our Annual Turkey Drive.

You ask what the Turkey Drive is?

The Turkey Drive Started a few years ago when COLBAR members, being the generous beings they are decided to contribute something to the Thanksgiving Spirit, i.e. money that allows Walter Reynoso to intermediate in the procuring of turkeys for the less fortunate members of the community. We ask that each member respond with generous checks (backed by funds, por favor!) so that 2011 will go down in history as COLBAR’s contribution to the economic uptick.

Let’s get what we can from our devoted membership to make a little difference for the not so fortunate on Turkey Day. A pledge of $25 (or more) is graciously appreciated from our friends. Walter has started out with a $200 contribution.  Fred will keep a running tally. The hope is to reach $200,000 by November 21!
