Currea, Esq.<\/span><\/h2>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Retired legal practitioner and distinguished member of the Colombian-American Bar Association, Michael Currea retired after a distinguished career in the legal profession, having been involved in private law practice since October 1975.<\/p>\n<p>Fluent in both English and Spanish, he was born in Miami, Florida, in 1949 and spent his formative years in Bogota, Colombia, from age one to age 15.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout his career, he made significant contributions to the legal community. As an <strong>adjunct professor<\/strong> at <em>Nova Southeastern University&#8217;s Shepard Broad College of Law<\/em>, he taught <strong>Legal Research<\/strong>, <strong>Writing<\/strong>, and <strong>Oral Argument<\/strong>, shaping the minds of future legal professionals.<\/p>\n<p>He also served as a title agent for Attorney\u2019s Title Insurance Fund, Inc., now Old Republic National Title Insurance Company, providing essential services in the real estate sector.<\/p>\n<p>A proud co-founder and past President of the Colombian-American Bar Association (COLBAR), Michael Currea remains an esteemed member of the COLBAR Board of Directors. His dedication to the legal profession and the Colombian-American community is also reflected in his past service as Secretary and Director of the Hialeah-Miami Springs Bar Association.<\/p>\n<p>Michael A.
