Juan G. Mejia, Esq.

Born in Medellin, Colombia, Juan moved to the U.S. in 1998. He is a trilingual attorney, proficient in English, Spanish and Portuguese, who has focused his legal career on the representation of community associations, primarily in collections and covenant enforcement litigation. He also represents clients in real estate related matters and litigation throughout the state of Florida.

Juan is a member of the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section for the Florida Bar and among his accomplishments, he is listed as a Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star attorney for the years of 2019, 2020 and 2021. Under this highly selective category, no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state are recognized.

Juan graduated from the University of Florida and received his law degree from the Florida International University School of Law. While in law school, he earned several awards such as the American Bar Association’s Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property Law, as well as the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for both, Intellectual Property Law and Computer & Internet Law.
