Viviana Ardila, Esq.

I advise and counsel clients regarding their E-2 Treaty investors’ visas and other employment-based visas. I prepare the applications and packets for investors’ visas and other employment-based cases for filing with USCIS and/or the Consulates. I represent clients before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Asylum Office, and Immigration Court. I draft notices of appeal and appeal briefs for the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). I prepare notices of filing for court (e.g., asylum, cancellation of removal, etc.). I complete motions for court (e.g., for continuance, to change venue, to administratively close proceedings, etc.). I elaborate requests for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) (e.g., to reopen proceedings, for deferred action, etc.). I conduct extensive legal research and compose legal briefs for court and USCIS on different legal issues. I assist and represent clients with their naturalization and citizenship applications. I compile numerous petitions and applications for USCIS (e.g., Applications to register permanent residence or adjust status, Petition for T/U nonimmigrant status, waivers of inadmissibility, stays of Removal, etc.). I participate in intake interviews of detained clients. I conduct extensive screening evaluations of clients for human trafficking-related applications and/or investors’ visas. I prepare clients for their interviews with USCIS, the Consulates or Embassies, the Asylum Office, and for their Immigration Court appearances. I follow up on clients’ cases, etc.
