Adriana Silva
Hi, I’m Adriana Silva, a first-generation law student with roots in Chicago and South Florida. My academic journey commenced at Florida International University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in International Relations.
Before delving into the world of law and starting law school, I gained practical experience as a paralegal, focusing on personal injury cases. This role provided me with a deep understanding of legal procedures and solidified my passion for pursuing a career in law.
Currently, I’m a second-year law student (2L), eagerly immersing myself in legal studies. Alongside my studies, I currently serve as a paralegal at a family/immigration law firm, where I apply my knowledge and skills part-time. This hands-on experience allows me to further develop my understanding of family and immigration law while balancing my academic pursuits.
I’m also honored to serve as the president of the Immigration Law Society at my school, where I am dedicated to fostering a community that advocates for immigrant rights and legal justice.
My journey in law is just beginning, and I am excited to continue learning, growing, and making a positive impact in the legal field.
