I am a very proud first-generation double cane! My family is originally from Santa Rosa de Cabal, Colombia, and I grew up in New Jersey. I came to Miami, Florida, hoping to reconnect with my Hispanic culture, and fell in love with the Colombian pride I encountered in my friends and academic and professional groups like Colbar.

· Clerked for three Assistant State Attorneys full-time and actively participated in and observed county court pretrial hearings and trials related to all criminal traffic violations, municipal ordinances, and misdemeanor offenses.
· Conducted legal research and writing, prepared court calendars, and checked in witnesses and victims to assist the ASAs in all aspects of case preparation.
