I am a very proud first-generation double cane! My family is originally from Santa Rosa de Cabal, Colombia, and I grew up in New Jersey. I came to Miami, Florida, hoping to reconnect with my Hispanic culture, and fell in love with the Colombian pride I encountered in my friends and academic and professional groups like Colbar.

The Office of State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle: Misdemeanor Division· Volunteer Legal Intern· Clerked for three Assistant State Attorneys full-time and actively participated in and observed county court pretrial hearings and trials related to all criminal traffic violations, municipal ordinances, and misdemeanor offenses.· Conducted legal research and writing, prepared court calendars, and checked in witnesses and victims to assist the ASAs in all aspects of case preparation.
